Though a member of the Cybertron Elite Guard, Jazz is a bit of an independent thinker. He's reluctant to disobey orders, but he has more of an appreciation for the finer things than his compatriots. This is evidenced in his better choice of vehicle mode disguise, a "sweet ride" drawn from Earth culture. He is also a Cyber-Ninja, like Prowl, although his training is more progressed. Instead of ninja stars, however, Jazz uses a pair of nunchaku. He seems to be the only one of the Elite Guard willing to learn, and fits in with the Earth team pretty well.

Jazz had to admit, hanging around Earth without a real objective in mind was.. relaxing. It was fun, really, to be lazy like he had been when just a cadet. Once he had actually gotten past that point, there had been no part of his job to mellow out. He had kept getting promoted, even without the.. enhancements available to some of them. Those made him shudder at the thought.

Here, things were relaxed, laid back, and even though the humans tended to get all worked over little things, their wars lasted no time in comparison to those of his own kind. So here, he had time; more time than he had thought he would have before, and he was using it in the way that he deemed best.

He was lazily going through the entire internet, learning about the land, the little organics that inhabited it, their customs and rituals, how they seemed to worship a few that seemed to excel in entertainment. Some of it was a little.. barbaric, but he had to keep reminding himself that they were just a developing species, practically brand new to the universe. A nearly-new species that had a knack of creating just about every type of music you could think of.

Any species that could make some slick rides and music like the kind Jazz was browsing through couldn't be all that bad.
